Biking excursions
Biking around Keliki and Ubud is one of the best ways to cover a lot of ground and see a multitude of different views of the surrounding hills. Roads are generally smooth, but be ready for a few uphill climbs and downhill sprints.
We recommend the Kintamani bike tour from Gunung Batur down through Keliki and into Ubud that follows a downward slope most of the way.

Here you will see various plantations of coffee arabica, coffee robusta, as well as pineapples, Balinese snake fruit(salak), cacao, jackfruit, durian, and many more local varieties of fruits.
Try the sampling of the best Balinese coffee or teas, including the famous luwak coffee, in this river valley area.
Shopping
Tegalalang Handicraft Market is less than a kilometer from Alam Sari, and is the largest handicraft market in SE Asia. It stretches down the main road of Tegalalang, and is frequented by commercial buyers from abroad, as well as tourists seeking interesting and diverse local crafts.
The surrounding villages host many artists, and this area has earned a reputation as the artists’ colony of Bali. You can take a leisurely stroll down many small lanes and find artists at work inside their small roadside shops.
