Yoga, Spiritual & Meditation Retreats
Ubud and its surroundings is the renowned centre for yoga and mediation on the island of Bali, and Alam Sari has hosted many retreats from abroad. There are large yoga spaces in Villa Saraswati, with an untouched jungle outlook and gorgeous gardens. As well the multi-purpose, a/c meeting room in the rear garden provides a private, dedicated space for yoga and meditation.
Our team can provide breakfast full catering to groups with specialized menus. Enjoy the range of healthy food options, lovely pool, spa services and tranquil surrounds supported by our friendly, knowledgeable team. Education & Learning Groups
Alam Sari has hosted many educational and school groups. Our "Learning in Bali" platform offers participants the chance to learn Balinese cooking, painting, woodcarving, mask-making, dancing and many more local crafts. In addition to courses, Alam Sari also offers programs focused on learning Balinese culture including local village tours, excursions to famous island sites and presentations on local culture.
We can tailor make itineraries for international and local school groups, to include learning, adventure and service learning.
Service Learning and Sustainability Initiatives
Alam Sari is also experienced setting up service-learning excursions such as working with local NGO's to teach valuable skills to local students in under-resourced vocational schools. Alam Sari can also introduce you to some of the people, organizations and businesses seeking to promote sustainable development.

Business & Team Building Events
Alam Sari has hosted small corporate team building weeks, and a venue for business to conduct their strategic planning. We have 2 spaces we offer as places to meet.
1) Villa Saraswati has a large, open air living area with beautiful views, and can be used for group sessions. We have round tables/chairs, cushions and mats.
2) Hire of the Meeting Room, which is a medium sized, multi-purpose function room with a/c, suitable for groups up to 30 pax (includes LCD Projector, Screen, whiteboard, 20-30 chairs or cushions, flowers, water pitcher and glasses)

Alam Sari’s Villa Saraswati and the beautiful hotel gardens are a perfect setting for an intimate and personalized celebration. The staff can create a beautiful Balinese setting using their skills in fine, intricate Balinese decoration, and flower arranging.
We can accommodate up to 15 rooms, and provide specialized buffet menus, which cater for up to 30 guests.
